On June 6, the Cardinal joined the priests of Albania for a morning of sharing and reflection. The meeting was held at the Gurrez parish “Our Lady of Good Counsel,” run by the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Dehonian Fathers.
In the church dedicated to the patron saint of the people of Albania, Cardinal Czerny led a moment of meditation entitled “The Priest in the Pope's Perspectives; spiritual worldliness, synodality, prayer” and celebrated the Eucharist. Also here, in the afternoon, the Prefect met with the Bishops' Conference of Albania.
On the same day, Card. Czerny visited the House of Charity in Laç Vau-Dejes, at the Curia of the Diocese of Sapo, where Marian consecrated women welcome and assist the differently abled.
At the end of his trip, on 7 June, the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Prefect visited the Jesuit parish ‘Zemra e Krishtit’ in Tirana, dedicated precisely to this cult, where he had the opportunity to meet the Jesuit community and celebrate Holy Mass.
